I respond to anyone and everyone that comments or replies, or tags me. ๐๐๐โจ๐ค

There might come a time where there are so many Hive users who either reply to you or mention you, such that you would need to skip replying to some comments, even when you use helpful tools such as #HiveEngage. ๐ค๐คฏ๐

Given how many comments, replies, and mentions that I receive every day now, I shudder to think of such a time! I use Engage and Hive Inbox now, no need for me to wait! ๐ ๐ ๐ โจ ๐ค

I recommend to Hive users who say that they struggle with time responding to each reply under their own posts and comments to simply leave a (tiny) upvote to show that they have already read (and liked) the comment. ๐ค๐ค

Yep, that's helpful, though personally I usually respond to them when I upvote. ๐ ๐ ๐ โจ ๐ค

However, if the upvotes are tiny enough such that the total is less than $0.02, they won't get paid out unless the dust votes get boosted by #dustsweeper and/or #dustbunny. ๐ค
The change on a recent Hive Hard Fork is that even tiny votes would be worth something on a vote (or in other words, no individual vote that isn't zero gets dusted), but any content whose total curation is worth less than $0.02 will have the author and curator rewards dusted (or in other words, collective dust votes at payout time still gets dusted). ๐คฏ๐ค

Yep, true, which is why I delegate to both @dustsweeper and @dustbunny. Also, while the layer-1 tokens may not pay out, the layer-2 tokens do, regardless.
Yep, I remember the conversations around that. I still upvote all comments and replies, even if most are dusted. My dusty bot friends boost some for me, as do other people sometimes. ๐ ๐ ๐ โจ ๐ค

Delegating to the #dustsweeper Hive account won't make the bot sweep your (incoming and/or outgoing) dust votes, though you can set a daily HIVE (or HBD) recurring transfer to the account that comes from your Hive Power delegation to the said account. ๐ค๐ค
Looks like the #dustbunny Hive account needs more HP delegations, because its bot is trying its best to fluff the dust votes whenever it reaches 80% Voting Power, such that not all dust votes get fluffed near payout time. ๐คฏ๐
