The topic about veganism is always interesting to me, how it helps your health and reduces problems like heart disease and diabetes, Im not vega but try to eat low carbs and sugar, since eating more vegetables usually means getting energy and vitamins and feeling better overall and then there's the whole issue of livestock farming which pollutes and damages the planet so eating more plant-based foods might help a little in that regard, I understand the idea of not focusing on just one thing and having a varied diet such as eating meat occasionaly to get protein and iron but mainly eating vegetables and grains as this is easier for most people to stick to.
