This is why I gave up on Hive. Nine years on here and still on 66% Rep, and then I see this, and I just know there's something going on under the hood.

After 8 year I have 67 rep. But never mind about it now. Honestly at first year it was important for me but now more important quality and what deep inside, not numbers.

Don't get me started. I've done posts that have taken me two or three days to craft. I've drafted loads of posts over and over before submitting them. I've got twelve drafts sitting on my account, unpublished. It's a shame, but I'd rather devote my time and appreciation elsewhere. 🤷♂️

I've been told it's meaningless, but then that begs the question, "So why is it there then?" For me, if I see someone in the 70+ range, it makes me sit up and listen a bit more, sort of a rank thing. Generally speaking, 25 Rep usually means a newbie or a naughty person.
That's just my opinion, that's not gospel.
