The Mighty Golden Patriot is a graphic novel produced by YouTuber Yellow Flash and artist John Dillard. The graphic novel can be pre-ordered from Rippasend.com - a pre-order and comic book fulfillment service operated by Rippaverse Comics. Through the first 3-days of the 90-day campaign Mighty Golden Patriot had preorders of 1,937 books for a total of $55,582 raised. This total does not include the funds charged for shipping. We will be comparing this to 3-day totals of similar crowdfunding campaigns from Indiegogo and Kickstarter which do include charges for shipping in the totals. For sake of equivalent comparison I will add a conservative estimate of 25% to the total of Mighty Golden Patriot, or $13,986.

Comparing the results in the table, The Mighty Golden Patriot (MGP) is second to only one campaign. If Yellow Flash's campaign is a failure then by simple arithmetic all of the Comicsgate campaigns are failures. Comicsgate has twisted a segment of the indie comic book market into a contentious post-reason space. **Synthetic conflict and internet blood sport only appeals to a small fraction of comic book readers. ** The Indie Comic Book Report will update the statistics for Mighty Golden Patriot periodically throughout the campaign.
