I reached 5,000 Hive Power this week, which was originally my year end goal for 2025 - but regular weekly purchases added up quickly. I likely could have reached 6,000 this week, but the @splinterlands Conclave Arcana event was so compelling I staked some SPS and purchased a few dozen packs. The new goal by year end is 10,000 Hive Power.
Staking Hive Power is one of the the best choices to secure and sustain the network. Eventually I would like to obtain a meaningful Hive Stake to have more meaningful influence over governance but this is a long term goal. I would hope that a decade from now Hive is still a viable and thriving network.
Checking the "Bee Balanced" tool made by @beaker007 I've reached a KE ratio of 0.28. I think it will be possible to get that under 0.2 by year's end. It's an interesting indicator for reinvestment in the system.
