Besides Portuguese (fluent, I think... Haha!), English (high level), Spanish (middle level) and a little bit of French and Italian.
I still want to learn German and Chinese.
How about you?

I'm really just starting out; I need more interaction. I don't feel very confident yet; I'm like a four-year-old learning to speak.
That's ok... we're all like that when learning a language, especially when it's very different from our own. Which ones are you learning?
That's fine. Just keep working, and you're going to get where you want to.
Portuguese is your mother tongue! hahaha
I speak two Filipino languages (Tagalog and Cebuano), but the latter is my native language, and also English (between advanced and proficient).
What kind of Brazilian would I be if I didn't speak Portuguese well, right? 🤣
You're doing fine on your language journey. :)
Hahahaha... right!!!
But some Filipino kids struggle with our own language because they're used to using English at school. So, the government made changes to our education system. XD
Thank you~!
If it's something aimed at the genuine preservation of the language, then it's valid. It's necessary to keep the history of one's own country alive.
For sure... English is the medium of instruction in the Philippines, but from a few years ago, that's applicable after the third grade.
But, I know a bit of Japanese (and I want to focus on learning it this time around), and I'm trying to learn Spanish and Portuguese (though, I'll take a break and focus on Japanese for now... but will get back to these two.)
I will...
I mostly have Japanese students, so sometimes, I have to use Japanese, especially for beginner students... and I love anime! But once I'm decent at that, I'll get back to Portuguese and Spanish! :D
Anime sounds a perfect "tool" when we talk about learning Japanese.
Hope you come back to Portuguese soon. 😌
It helped me a lot with listening practice and pronunciation... also, casual conversation. hahaha
I hope so too! :D
The same with me...Trying to learn English with American movies. 😅
