I won't. I am not a US citizen. AI getting used for mass domestic surveillance of US citizens is a moot point for me. If you are not a US citizen it should be a moot point for you too.
Anthropic were the first AI company to run to military to offer their services. (Also not forget their deal with Palantir.) They aren't some hero as people purport them to be.
So it doesn't change anything.
It is a personal choice. I am just saying actions of OpenAI does not change my personal choice.
Anthropic did not care if mass surveillance was done on foreigners, I am a foreigner. Materially nothing changed for me. I'll use whatever is useful. Be it Anthropic or OpenAI.
Fair enough. I'm not using either for now, but I will assess the situation if I need that sort of thing. There are plenty of other issues around such companies.
