Historically, I've been sorta picky about who I follow on Hive. I think I'm going to change that and follow anyone who displays any kind of actual substance (real comments, variations on content, etc). The chain is still too sparse to be picky. #ThriveOnHive
I try to follow people who will make my feed interesting and fun. It helps if they engage with others. I'd love to have more choice for that.
I've followed many in terms of who I deem valuable to hive and with curation in mind. At some point I do plan on making my own follow list of things I'm interested in but too early for now. Lists work well too however.
I always look at the lists option and think that makes sense, I've just never actually made any.
I kind of have a similar problem, hitting the follow button always seem really hard for me. Might just follow on your footsteps based on this premise :)
