Yes, my plant had one very long vine. I had put it on top of a cabinet and the vine almost touched the floor.
So I cut the vine in several pieces and put all those in the water.
I'm not going to keep them all by the way. I'll give them away when they survive in a pot later on.

the boring part is that after every season they all get together, finally and then the series decides to split them all, ove and over that it just gets old, it had potential and many online said how the series trash the original story, if they only had stick to it
I found it and binge watched 2 or 3 seasons. Maybe I should read the novels to see what happens. The future selecting plot device had similarity to the later Dune movies.
