I haven't been active lately. I also wanted my voting power to be charged up. In time, I predict my voting mana will once again begin to fluctuate. I typically only vote for things I've actually consumed. I've yet to vote for your snap because busy writing this. Make sense?

It would take a trend change in the price because if the downtrend doesn’t end my account will be worth too little to continue.
Totally understand… a trend reversal would give everyone a big morale boost .
That being said, if creators find price downtrend demotivating... I believe it will be more difficult for builders to sustain their projects especially that there are so many L1 chains that have a lot of budget allocated for development.

A community built up, producing attractive content, in my mind, is meant to attract eyes and support. Akin to a magazine. Those require readers and subscribers. I wonder why I'm not seeing people setup a subscription service, then offering a share of proceeds to creators.
Not sure what they're up to. I'm looking at having the ability to first create a community, like we have, then taking those to the next level. A comedy club for example should in theory attract an audience. Some would be willing to support it then keep coming back for more.
I agree with the theory, but in practice, the comedy communities here (like too many other communities) only seem to attract viewers when they're running a contest.

The arts attract consumers. Even a livestream of a rocket launch falls into that category as long as there's a host. Look what's happening. People dropping tips. And yes a comedy community as it stands now is more like a comedian convention. People need to build the audience.
I've built a small audience, and I'm pretty sure I'm bringing at least a couple dozen new eyeballs to 3Speak, but I haven't quite been able to convert that to new users yet. Hive keys are still a bit too complex for below-average Americans, it seems.
Plenty of obstacles. People worked hard developing all this stuff. Quite innovative. For some reason after all these years I still think there's more room for innovation. Plenty of tools around, still in the box.
Probably a good time to stop thinking about it.

Not even, lol. I'm in SE Asia, a humid country with no winter. I'm used to 30 degrees so below 20 is cold for me. 5 degrees is unbearable 😅

Better stay away from SE Asia especially in summer where it can reach an insane heat. We get crazy heat here since 2023 when the heat index spiked to 40-50 degress.

I found a trick to uploading images from ios, for now the simplest way for me is to take a screenshot of the image and that turns it into a nice light jpeg, but not noticeably small or anything, just perfect for the web.

When she's good, she's great. But there are lots of rulesets where her ability is a liability. You really need to pick your spots with her.

Not at all... this is not typical in the slightest. What's good for her is the unarmored ruleset or true strike ruleset. Noxious fumes is a good ruleset too. The higher the mana, the worse she becomes.

I don't think I quite understand this change yet. I only know that my voting power has dropped significantly. It went from 0.065 (15 november) to 0.052. The HIVE value also fell, but it's already recovering.
While you could not run out of your voting mana before HF, you can do so now. Before, each 100% took 2% of the remaining VM. So a 100% vote used to cost "only" 1% when you had 50% VM.
Now, each 100% costs you 2% of the total VM regardless of your current balance. So if you give away 50 full upvotes, you can run out of your mana.
