The wide angle one is just me standing on the opposite side of canyon. The one shooting down at the river is taken from an observation deck perched on a cliff. :)

The one looking down on the river was taken from a viewing platform on the edge of a cliff. The more expansive view, I was standing near the edge on the opposite side.
Disturbingly beautiful ... barren with life finding a wending way through it!

I hope to get to one soon. I could blame having to move or spending some time in the hospital but truthfully I'm also fighting a general malaise right now. Dealing with the evil buffoonery of my government doesn't help much either. lol.
lol our government buffoons take some beating. Incompetent corrupt and out of touch springs to mind. I am totally with you on the general malaise though!
When I finish moving at the end of the month and spring is here, I should be able to get out on some adventures. Then I'll be able to scratch together a couple long form posts hopefully. :)
