Everything you said, and: the US wants this war. Ceasing oil has always been the goal. The problem is layered: it's about the dominance of the $dollar, economic dominance, crippling China (that relies of Iranian oil)... But its all done in a crude fascistic warmongering manner.

Instead of creating legitimate leverage, the US is seeking to cripple its competition. The oligarch class is using this as an opportunity to do insider trading, and lock-in their positions in the new AI/blockchain economy that they are going to roll out.

This is teaching the rest of the countries in the world that all you need to have for attacking someone is someone saying "something something we will respond back" and then that's enough to change the narrative and say, "they are saying they will attack us". Ridiculous.
