"Impeding enforcement" should be clearly defined. Currently it extends to not doing as they say, filming them, screaming at them, attempting to protect someone from being sprayed in the face by them.
Not trying to promote "ice out" zones, obeying federal officials, and above all understanding that storming some hotel because you think ice officers are there, those are not "valid" forms of protest. HAving said that it is always a tragedy when life is lost for no good reason...
This defines what the limitations of the Protesters should be, which is fine... but, what about the limitations of the law enforcement? As trained force they should be responsible for de-escalation, rather than passing that responsibility on to the untrained civilians.
Yes but i the end you are responsible for your actions, if local PD would hold criminals, less of this operations would be needed imho. Also if they would protect agents while operations are going on this would never get to this point.
and of course, as legitimate law enforcement - no masks. How can civilians know who is a real ICE agent and who is not, if they hide their face? The public has the right to demand that this changes for their own safety. There is no LAW that requires a face-cover to be enforced.
Given the total lack of respect from people online that will dox and threat agents i tottaly understand why they do it... We are talking about lunatic no lifers that have the guts to show up at your door and try to hurt you because you are doing your job, seems justified.

You just described ICE. They show up at people's doors, and where people work, without warrant or ID and make people disappear.
If you are a legal citizen with a regular situation you have nothing to fear from the police. Plus those people already had their visas denied, or they are simply illegal,many have open warrants for hideous crimes, i think it is a good thing they get deported tbh.
Really? Do you know their names and where they are now? please post a link to the publicly available list of all the people they have been detaining, why, and where.
I don't care about those people, i am on the side of all the americans that have been defrauded, rapped, murdered by people democrat admin left loose on the country, maybe it is not palatable i don't care. The west is not the world social welfare, i wish the same for Europe soon.
Look, its simple, as public servants they take the risk of not being liked by many people. It's called courage and duty. All normal law enforcement have name tags, badges and faces visible. Because its easy for a person in authority to abuse their power, and we seen it.
