Since 2022, central banks have been buying approximately 1,000 tons of #gold per year (roughly twice as much as in the previous decade). The World Gold Council forecasts that purchase levels will remain high in 2026, although below the peak levels of 2025.

        Over the past year, silver has done even better than gold. I think for the Everyman, silver is king. Whether measured in ounces or grams, it is usable as a day-to-day money.
