Cooking for an indigenous wedding in #ecuador is a whole different story... Those buckets are the chili sauce. It's not really hot, but delicious!

It should be a very interesting experience (especially for those who really enjoy cooking).
It's a community effort. It's around 50 people helping each day and night, in shifts.
You know, i find that ecuadorians are not really hot sause eaters... they keep it mild.
Yeah, but a few really like it hot. That's where rocoto and my pickled chili come into play :-D
Ooh I'd love to try those! I bought scorpion pepper souse in Super Maxi, HOT! but the flavour is not all that impressive.

I'll send you one once I'm done with all the investments this year. Had to buy a new oven, and that's still squeezing me - gotta work more, hence also less hive time. But I'll get you guys a new care package asap!
WEEE!!! thank you!! I'd rather do a road-trip up north to meet with you and your fam, but whichever happens first will still be great. 🤗x💯
They know what they're doing! It's always impressive to see the women work that hard.
It was pretty regular, something like 300-400 people on that day. It goes for 3 days. Huge for me, still.
