Can you imagine posting daily on Hive and earning 40-50 hive per post but not having left a single comment in 1.5 years even though people are leaving you comments?

My bar for accounts I downvote is extremely high as I cba with the drama and fingerpointing that follows at this time, but damn, some accounts I find are so horrible I can't even comprehend.
Yeah, that example you gave is pretty horrendous. I really don't downvote unless it's clearly a bullshit farming account, and I guess this example counts as that. Be a community member, not a leech.
yeah considering how little content gets downvote we really don't ask for a lot of people
compared say youtube wanting you to pass 4k watch hours and have 1k subscribers before they accept you to earn a few cents of ad revenue

I always feel good when I see comments on my post and I try to reply all of them.

It sounds surreal (especially given the rewards issue 🥴), but I wouldn't be surprised to see cases like this on Hive. Some users seem to be absent outside of their daily posts, and as someone active on the internet for years, it raises many doubts.
I've been here for almost two years and, while I haven't earned that many Hive Rewards on my posts, that didn't stop me from continuing to seek engagement. Responding to the comments people leave you should be basic and even MANDATORY, personally.
