World of imagination is boundless and whimsical, and this week contest invite us to running wild with it. Greetings my fellow wonderful @ladiesofhive, I'm Iris from East Java, Indonesia. My entry today will try to answer the first question by @irenenavarroart, which is really out of the box.
|There's a song that says everyone wants to rule the world. Let's play with this phrase a little and, without getting into controversy, explain how you would convince people to vote for you as president of your country. 😅 It's an exercise in imagination, so try to make it fun.
If people are crazy enough to choose me as a president candidate, I think this would be my winning speech:
My dearest citizens,
I know life can be tough. We’re all juggling work, family, responsibilities, and sometimes just trying to stay afloat. That’s why, if I have the honor to lead this country, I want to start with something simple but meaningful: a weekly hour that belongs only to you.
Every legal citizen will have access to a public rest hall, a cozy space built for pure relaxation. You’ll get one free hour every week to do whatever brings you joy without any questions asked or any reason needed.
The state will build these halls in every city, town, distric, and even villages! It will be filled with things people actually enjoy. There’ll be:
• Rest zones with comfy chairs and capsule room (because sometimes all we need is silence and an hour sleep)
• Libraries and cozy reading corners for you book lovers.
• Game rooms for a little fun filled with video games, consoles, board games, card games, and any popular game that you need.
• Hobby rooms fully stocked with art supplies, puzzles, instruments, go ahead, if you are the type to wind down by making crochet or playing the kalimba!
• Childcare centers where your kids will be cared for lovingly while you take your moment.
• And most importantly; a free-flow buffet. Because no one should meditate or paint on an empty stomach.
It’s your time. No calls from families unless it is life and death situation. No tasks or emails from office. The responsibility can wait. Just you and whatever helps you recharge.
Because in my reign, recharging isn’t a luxury, it’s a right! Let’s build a nation that values well-being as much as productivity, where rest is protected, and joy is policy. Vote for a future where taking care of yourself is a thing that everyone can afford!
That's it, and I think that's enough to make the presidential staff going crazy every week lol. So will you vote for me, my friends?
