You know this speaks volumes! I am reminded of conversations with our grandkids, in particular, about food items. "Here! Try some broccoli!" You already know there's a good chance they will say they don't like it without ever having tried it, to begin with LOL. As we get older, these same situations often present themselves to us. But when it involves all these adult things... right? Then things are quite different. When I say your closing sentence speaks volumes? Well... I, too, have been in similar situations, and your words ring with the explanation of experience. Don't ever lose this admirable quality!
