Hello everyone and happy Sunday to you all. I am so happy to be participating in this week's topic and I will be answering the two questions which was thrown to us today..
1️⃣ We women are known for carrying out several activities at the same time. Somehow we always balance our schedules to accomplish them all, even though sometimes that brings us excessive fatigue. My question is: what do you do when you feel exhausted? How do you regulate your physical, mental and emotional state to be yourself again?
To be a woman is not you have a lot of responsibilities to carry out, ranging from taking care of the children(for married women), to cleaning, cooking etc.
Yesterday was really stressful for me, I had a lot to do. I cleaned the room, swept the compound, cooked and washed clothes. Some people might say the work isn't much but to be frank it was, I haven't done chores like this in a while. By the time I was done with everything I had to do, it was late at night.
Now to answer the question what do I do when exhausted? Whenever I am tired or stressed out, I just take my bath then lie down and sleep. Whether I sleep or not, it doesn't matter as long as I don't do anything other than lie down, I won't even press phone. There is this calmness I feel when I lie down to rest by the time I stand up after like two hours of lying down and doing nothing, I feel relaxed and energized.
2️⃣ What do you think about the phrase "𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭?" Do you agree with it? Or do you prefer the phrase "𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲." I would like to know what you think.
"Family comes first" means that our family members are the most important people in our lives. It means that we should always prioritize our family's needs and well-being above other things.
Family is special because they love us, support us, and care for us no matter what. They are there to celebrate our achievements and comfort us during hard times. Family gives us a sense of belonging and security.
Putting family first means being there for them when they need us. It means spending time together, helping each other, and making decisions that benefit the whole family. Sometimes, it might mean sacrificing our own wants or needs for the sake of our family members.
I am a mother and I always put my family first in anything I do. Even if I am not comfortable with that thing I want to do, I think about my family, how it will affect them of I don't do it.
But putting my family first doesn't mean I don't put myself first. I put myself first if what I want to do won't affect my family negatively.
