As a child growing up in my Uncle's house affected my life in different dimensions both positive and negative, one of the negative aspects is leaving an indoor life, when I was in my Uncle's house, he would not allow us to go out, he is very strict when it comes to we girls, his reasons was that he doesn't want boys to spoil us,we were only permitted to go church or market when the need arise, this has affected my life negatively even as an adult,I live a private life,I always stay indoor and somany people has known me with that, I have been leaving in this apartment for more than three years but some people barely know me,,I don't mingle with people easily.I always like to sleep whenever I am less busy without knowing that I have been denying myself things that increase lifespan.
It always feels good to experience different things from your own environment, leaving your comfort zone for an adventure to catch fun is a beautiful experience. It was a beautiful Sunday morning and my sister complained that we have been hustling for all this while without relaxation, all we do is to go to the market, hustle from Monday to Saturday then after church salmon on Sunday we just come back and sleep just to continue our normal hustling on Monday,I reasoned with what she said and a thought of Iyanisach came to my mind,
Iyanisach (beautiful area in Lagos state) has been a Unique place for people that come from my village as you will see different kinds of our village delicacies, our wonderful palm wine, bush meat etc. without wasting much time, we decided to go there, on reaching there, it was heaven on earth as I was served my favorite village food (Achicha) garnished with fresh pepper and onions, I ate it as if my life depends on it after which they saved us original palm wine, we drank, danced and fed our eyes.
This is me drinking Iyanisach palmwine
it was a memorable one as we met our brothers and sisters from the same village over there, I wish to visit there any time opportunity permits, I never knew it is this sweet because is not part of me but after this experience, I have concluded that I will create time for picnics, let's say once in every month.
