RE: LOH #301 | Small acts of self-care that help us feel good 🌼 [ENG/ESP]

I think there’s a subtle difference between dressing for other people’s approval and simply being conscious of how we present ourselves. We live among other people, so of course their perception matters to some extent, but it shouldn’t become the thing that determines our worth.

I also relate to the part about little self-care rituals. Sometimes it’s not even about looking dramatically different. It’s just that feeling of freshly washed hair, moisturized skin, a nice scent, and an outfit you actually like and suddenly you’re walking around with 15% more confidence for absolutely no logical reason. 😂

Sort:

Yes, our worth shouldn’t be measured by other people’s opinions, but as we’re human, we can fall into the trap of constantly comparing ourselves to others.

It’s true that by doing small routines that become habits, we feel more confident, and that’s something that’s really worthwhile – especially as a reminder that we deserve to look after ourselves just as much as we look after the people we love.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment – big hugs 🫶🏽🥰
