I think there’s a subtle difference between dressing for other people’s approval and simply being conscious of how we present ourselves. We live among other people, so of course their perception matters to some extent, but it shouldn’t become the thing that determines our worth.
I also relate to the part about little self-care rituals. Sometimes it’s not even about looking dramatically different. It’s just that feeling of freshly washed hair, moisturized skin, a nice scent, and an outfit you actually like and suddenly you’re walking around with 15% more confidence for absolutely no logical reason. 😂
