Whether your mother is with us in person or in spirit, what is /was your plan to celebrate mothers day this year?
Mothers day celebration 🎉 is a very special occasions that is marked to honor and appreciate the selfless love and care of mothers all over the world.
For those of us that have lost our mothers, the day can be bittersweet. despite the fact that they are not here physically, their memories still lives on in our heart.
What was my plan to celebrate my mother this year?
The truth is, it's been so long since she passed, so i tend not to care until recently when I realized celebrating mothers day is not just about who gave birth to you alone.
What would have been my plan to celebrate my mother?
Money: I would probably send her money to contribute in church for their mothers day celebration 🎉 which is marked every year in church
Church: Going to church to witness all the incredible presentations, going out to hug her, getting sentimental and cry a little. These a few things that are carried out at my local assembly at home and later on presenting her with a gift like wrapper. Other families does thesame for their mothers.
Share photos: i would share cute photos of her in my social media platforms wishing her Happy Mothers Day.(But she is was not a picture person though)
Food: if i was at home, i would probably make her favorite dish which is okra soap and eba a Nigerian known delicacy😋
work with her in farm: Going to farm with her to remove some weeds, plant some crops or harvest with her would make her day.
I know most persons would be like nooo not the farm,but the help she gets from her children in any way or form means alot to her and that's what that day is all about, CHILDREN APPRECIATING THEIR MOTHERS.

Celebration of mothers is not only applicable to our birth mothers alone,but all mother all around us that carries out these duties without complains.Am thankful to all the incredible mothers around me, which includes,
My Elder sisters: My older sister's who have carried these titles in their various husband's houses raising their own families and still raising their younger siblings in the absence of our parents, teaching and loving us unconditionally.
My friends Mother's: i have been fortunate enough to have friends with amazing mothers who have welcomed me into their families.
Mother Figures: Yes not biologically related in anyway but they have shown me so much love, teached me alot and directed me in all their wisdoms, these incredible mothers include Pastor's wife's, my bosses wife, teachers both in school and church, neighbors, work colleagues.
By honoring my mother's memory, i will be celebrating other mothers in my life and find new ways to celebrate mothers day. I will ensure that mothers day remain a meaningful and special occasion and i know it will get even better when I get to celebrate motherhood myself.
