Ok, maybe it's because most of our traditions like these are not being talked about by our parents because of their new found faith.

Mine did talked about it ,and I watched it killing my cousin's father and the daughter who got pregnant
Oh am so sorry. I think our parents and grandparents should make it a point to educate us more about our roots, cultures and traditions. If it's what we ought to pray our way out of, we should be ready to.
