You came to this world with a mission that only belongs to you and you chose, so I invite you to ask yourself what was missing to achieve those goals, how many excuses did you make?
I believe each and everyone of us came to this world with a special mission, and I have come to realize that we either finish the mission before certain age or we end up regretting not being able to fulfill that mission.
My mission has always been to spread positivity through my profession as a Pharmacist, and these include,
Improve patient outcome: That is, to provide excellent care, ensuring patients receive accurate medication therapy and counseling.
Promote health awareness: Educating patients and communities about healthy lifestyle, disease prevention and management.
what is missing to
achieve these goals.
The Right Platform: working in a private community pharmacy has limit my approach to my mission towards complete pharmaceutical care, for example health screening of individuals.
Time: It's obvious, when you work for a particular individual, everything tend to be dictated for you. Am basically walking on egg shell, that's how i feel most time.This has been part of my drawbacks on my mission towards giving back to the community where I practice health wise.
Financial Constraints: private pharmacy hardly spend their money on public health programs, if there is no particular benefit attached to it. Since I can't fund it personally at the moment, I will say my hands are tied but I believe not for too long.
Some excuses I have been making
Lack of knowledge: Hear me out, sometimes i feel i don't have the necessary information or enough experience to tackle certain health issues.
Perfectionism: My desire to provide flawless responses has led to overthinking, causing me to miss opportunities for growth and connection.
Fear of failure: The fear of not meeting expectations or making mistakes has held me back from taking risks and exploring new avenues.
One would say these are what i should be practicing, i just think am not doing enough . Dare i say, am still in the phase of achieving my mission, this is due to alot of circumstances surrounding me as you can tell.
Mission i believe is a continuous process, since am able to point out my drawbacks, i know it's easier for me to step up at anytime and work towards it even more and do better so as not to have any regrets.
