Hello ladies and friends. Hope your week is awesome, especially with well being. And considering also the two interesting questions brought to us by our dear friend @elizabethbit, we are all either in sober mood of how its memorable weekend for those that gave their lives for us in the military or all excited 😜 because summer👙😎 is just by the conner .
I will be sharing with you today on the memorial of the military men and women who has gone so many years ago. Which is from the number 1️⃣ question:
Celebrating and remembering this important day is something so significant, of those who fought for us giving their lives to pay the price. Its not how we lost them but of the pain they left in our hearts ♥️. We can’t give back enough because it was s huge price.
Although we don’t celebrate this service by this time of the year in my country Nigeria 🇳🇬, but on an earlier date in January of every year, usually the 15th. This service remembrance is called “Armed Forces Remembrance Day” A day the Federal Government of Nigeria has set aside for us to remember those who paid the price of War. Its indeed a remembrance that always
brings pain of how so many men and women lost their lives, fighting to make sure the next generation will not face what they have faced.
Its a thing of joy to celebrate memories like this because its in the past , but thinking about this event ironically, its a thing of tears 😭 that souls were lost to guns and machetes. And many who would have survived died of untreated wounds, abandonment and hunger. Even many thought 💭 with hope that they will make it and unite with their families again.

These number one citizens are the warriors of their time, now and will continue to be because the memory they left is an everlasting one. They surrendered their lives for the sake of their country, their loved 🥰 ones and unborn generations to have peace ☮️. Their serving present mates the Nigerian Soldiers see them as their fallen heroes 🦸♂️💪.
Its always a special day here in Nigeria 🇳🇬 with lots of parades at the Capitals , Speeches from top government officials, gunshots to salute their souls, the departed whose memories live through this celebration. The pain in all this is suffered by those who lost their beloved ones. A day to cry and some visiting cemeteries to leave flowers 🌺 for their family member graves. Some parents, friends, family members, brothers, sisters. It’s usually an amazing day but some will be in sorrow.
You can visit the venue of ceremony to watch it live, but usually a hectic day. So many will prefer to streamed it on line to honor and pay respect to this military heroes 🦸♀️. An extra busy day for the media both physically and online as comments becomes the activity of the day.
I pray many countries will always reference this period of service to lost military men and women, seeing it as huge price paid by souls and trying all they could to bring and put In their best in active service. Especially the Leaders In Governance.
Thank you ladies for reading. Sending love and blessings ❤️😇.
