1️⃣ Everyone has a hobby or passion for something and this is part of their personality, even though some of us have common tastes. What is the topic you could spend hours talking about if you had the opportunity?
If I was given the opportunity to talk about any topic of my choice, it would be Female Genital Mutilation. Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is a practice involving the partial or total removal of the female external genitalia and the visible part of the clitoris, which is a sensitive part of the female genitals. This procedure of female genital mutilation is recognized worldwide as a violation of the human rights of girls and women. It constitutes an extreme form of discrimination against girl's and women.
This practice also violates a woman's rights to health, security, and physical integrity. Research shows that over 230 million girls and women internationally have undergone some sort of female genital mutilation - many before the age of 15. Being around some girls who have been brutally violated and had their rights as a girl ripped off, and hearing their experiences they shared with me, made me shed tears. It is good that in Nigeria UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) today warned against female genital mutilation. Female genital mutilation has no health benefits. It is deeply harmful to girls and women in all aspects, both physically and psychologically. This is a practice that has no place in our society today and must be eradicated.
2️⃣ If you had the opportunity to have any talent but with the condition of not receiving any kind of reward for it, what talent would it be?
When I saw this question, it made me smile, you know why? Because of my talent that I would love to display without any sort of rewards for; it is dancing...☺️ Dancing gives me lots of joy, and doing it in front of people in order to make them happy makes me really happy. Whenever I dance, I feel excited and relieved. I really do not have any certain music I dance to... whenever music is played, my body just subconsciously dances to the rhythm and tunes... Writing about this aspect of my life is actually giving me lots of joy... I do not need any kind of reward for dancing because I do it with my whole heart ☺️☺️
