Over the past weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), I made a trip to my usual place. Twice a year, I make the trip.
I would hop into the car and drive some 150 miles away. I've been doing this since I was 24 years old.
I'll probably be back on October.

Do you recognize this ageing tree? My friends and those of you who more or less follow me know this tree.

Every time I see this tree, I feel a sense of relief. Under this tree is where I sit.
Since it is my father's tree, I refer to it as such.
I can spend hours sitting here. I sat there last weekend... every afternoon.
Just planning, thinking, and spending some time alone.

I spend about an hour by myself, thinking about my life and trying to get a better understanding of both the small world I live in and myself.

But, let me show you flowers of this garden

This is the entrance to one of the two gardens in the house.

Flowers are just scattered all over. These were all taken at different spots in the garden.

The fragrant, sweet smell of flowers permeates the air!

Varied colors! I'll show you the pinks and purple flowers.

Oh! LOOK!
