I have fond memories of cuddling and caring for rabbits, but I also have memories of my father bringing them to raise and then slaughtering them for a family meal. I loved rabbits; they were so gentle and calm, I could spend a lot of time near their cage.
The last prank I pulled was opening the cage to let them free, and I had to go looking for them in every corner of the yard. They're quite intelligent animals and fearlessly seek human company. They would make perfect pets. Of course, I'd have a pair, although I know what that means; there would be a ton by the end of the year.
