If I were told I could achieve some purchases early this year, I would have denied it, but of course, nothing is impossible when you commit your plans to the Almighty. The very scripture I held onto this year was that when you commit your plans or actions to God, they will be achieved, that is, if you do believe and not doubt in your mind.
For this post, the Ladies of Hive Community is posing a question, and I will answer it below.
Any new purchase or plan that you've been wanting to get or achieve?
I moved into this apartment on March 28th of this year after I was done with my Youth Service. Some of the things I committed to buying were a fridge, a stabiliser, a new laptop, and some other important items. When I did the estimation, they were above two million naira. At first, I doubted in my mind and at the same time, I was leaning on my payouts from Hive and most importantly, hoping for this upcoming bull run where I'd planned that I would get everything. That was an opportunity for me, but as time went on, I decided to focus on God, knowing there are times we make plans, but only God has the final say.
I have dreamt for a long time of having a fridge of my own where I could do lots of things with it, especially the part where I would be making different kinds of fruit juices and keeping them in the fridge and also, reducing the everyday cooking to relieve me of the stress of warming every time just so I could preserve my meals from not wasting.
When I spoke with my big sister about my plans, she loved it and promised to support me. After two months moving in here, I got my fridge and stabiliser through withdrawing some amount on Hive, plus her support for me. I felt so excited that my dream for years was finally achieved.

The second was getting a new laptop. I had two laptops before. Both had faults, and I struggled with using them. I kept them somewhere in the house and had determined to get a new one towards the end of the year, still waiting for the bull run. I had shifted my focus till then, but I felt I needed one very soon, especially with doing some online stuff, and using a laptop would make it easier for me.

When my sister got to know about the old laptops, I knew God had sent her to me. She promised to give me the money, and some weeks ago, my laptop was ordered from Lagos city. I couldn't believe that all I had planned to purchase were gotten so early and within six months of the year. Sometimes when I think about them, I feel so fulfilled within me and thank God for bringing people my way to make it easier. I did not have to stress myself getting them.
My new laptop is amazing and I have been enjoying its work ever since I bought it with full speed and capacity. This has made my work easier online as I don't even need to stress my phone too much which could affect its energy, too. I'm really grateful for these purchases because they have made life easier for me.
