Some of the ill character of some children you see today can be traced to wrong parenting or total lack of nurturing of that child, both morally and otherwise. I think I agree with you on this maturity trait. Maturity is important, mental development before raising a child is Vital otherwise we miss it all.
Talking about discipline, If a parent is not disciplined, he can't raise a disciplined child, so I see that as a must trait and the selflessness, all on point 👌

Exactly, a parent can not give what he or she doesn't have and in most cases this kind of parents are very difficult to correct because they don't see anything wrong with their indiscipline pattern of training their children.
