My hometown is a very busy area, known for business and hardwork, there is no dull moment, both old and small have a small scale of business that fetches him money.

When it comes to culture, they hold on to it and dont joke with it especially in marriage aspects, they don't joke with the traditional way where the man get the list of what to buy for the family and the bride price of the lady . The couples wear two different outfits, first one to welcome the visitors and the second one for the main event.

During this ceremony the mother of the bride and that of the groom where same dress to show that they are one family now.
In my place there are four market days which are EKE, ORIE,NKWO, AFO, though i don't know much about this market days but i have been there at one time when i went to the village, its really a big market where different people from different towns come to buy and sell and if you @kerrislavenhill visit my home town , and it happens to be one of this market days i will take you there to see for your self.
One thing that surprises me most is that it is only during this market days that the villagers buy things at cheaper rate unlike the retailers in their street because they too buy in large quantities for resale after the market.
If you get to see the hardworking spirit of the villagers when it comes to farming, you would want to engage in farming and their efforts are worth it because that is their means of survival, even the younger ones engage in it too.
They even farm for others and get paid daily for the work some of them will farm for each other like " A will join B to farm and when its B turn to clear his farm B will join A to farm" and that is how it goes and i love that uniting spirit.
You are not going to regret a visit to my place, its going to be fun , you will see different ways we prepare our food, the way we process our garri and fufu, you will love it.
Writing on this prompt has got me thinking about visiting my hometown thank you @kerrislavenhill.
