There is nothing right or wrong of any individual's parenting ways. It all depends on our needs and life conditions, so it is ok for a woman to work and make necessary arrangements for her child to be taken care. But yes in the process there will be lots to sacrifice as well and lots to gain.
I was also a working mother and worked very odd hours, but then when I was home I would make it a point to give undivided attention to my son.
That's life it has to keep going on.
I completely agree with you that travelling is a stress buster and gives us so much exposure to life hence near or far wherever one must keep stepping out of their environment and explore the places around.
