Ever since I was born, God's grace has been my sufficiency and with the help of my adorable parents I've lived my life well to some extent. But let's say I have the power to turn back the hand of time and meet with my younger self, I will gladly offer her the following guidance.
The image is mine
- Never neglect the impact of vocational training
Having special skills rather than only academic knowledge pays. When I was much younger, I didn't take skills acquisition very seriously but as an adult I now understand the impact of vacation and it's now painful to me . Why didn't I know that on time?
So one of the advice I will love to tell my younger self is go in search of skills that can add up to whatever she's been taught in school so as to be able to take good care of herself and not depend on the money made from any white collar job
- Leave fear aside and be outspoken
While I was younger I was intelligent and as well smart but I wasn't that outspoken, I usually hid under the canopy of others to speak out. I was always afraid that I might say the wrong thing and it might affect others badly.
So for me to speak, I will rather keep quiet but as I grow older I understand the importance of being outspoken and letting out my fears. So to my younger self, please leave fear aside and speak out your mind anywhere you find yourself.
- Always be tolerable
Without anyone telling me this, I know I was a bit harsh while I was younger. I hated lots of people for no reason and there is nothing anyone can do about it, my level of tolerance is very low. I don't always endure things, once I'm fed up I let go of things easily without looking back.
But as I grow older, I understand the importance of being tolerable with everyone I come across. So to my younger self, please try and tolerate people's excesses and also be tolerant in love.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
