Life has a way of showing you how valuable people truly are... like you will just see/experience things at times and be you will glad that you have people around you at such a time.

For me, that moment was when I was sick and on the sick bed for years. I was always in and out of the hospital while undergoing different tests and surgeries. And I can tell you that that season of my life stretched me, stretched my family and been tested us.... It was a trying moment.

It got to a point that things began to take a turn around, my family went into debts, sold stuffs and did all they could just so to keep me alive. And I'm grateful to them, they did stood by me, I'm grateful to the friends and relatives who made themselves available as well. Their prayers, faith, kindness, love, and care paid off.

Today, I will love to talk about this two people I will ask well never forget. One is a complete stranger, and the other was my doctor

I was just alone that night at the hospital, the pain wouldn't allow me to sleep and I can't very well recall where my mum, dad, or brother went to, I just knew I was alone with other patients in the ward. My bed was among the top three closest to the nurse's stand in my ward and that is where he went to directly, I couldn't hear them though and I couldn't see his face because there was no light. After he had discussed with them, he looked around the hospital ward and went to random beds to drop an envelope, I was lucky to be a part of the few he came to.

I was glad he came through for us then, because it was a time when all hope was lost and we couldn't even think of any other thing. Just sad that he didn't say his name or who he was so I could really appreciate him and so my family could find him and thank him. Because he was obviously an answer to our prayers at that time.

Like I said earlier, the other person was my doctor. It was a tough time for us too, and I was scheduled for another surgery, and there were list of the things I was to buy aside from the surgery and anesthesia fee. The. The night before that particular surgery, he came by. It was a time we couldn't even think of what else to do, I was just laying there on the hospital bed blaming myself for putting my family in such a situation.

He came in with stuffs. Im Short, he has help gotten every single thing I will be needing for the surgery. Even though he's my doctor, he does not have to do it, but he did.

That act changed how I began do see medical personnel. Not as if I don't admire and love them before, but I saw beyond all of that, I saw them, they are indeed very caring, forget about the way they act, their job just entails that they be like that sometimes.

And that was how I was able to survive the hardest seasons of my life. A lot of people stood by me then and I'm grateful to them, but this support from a total stranger and from my doctor is what I still think about a lot. I am a living proof of their kindness.

Indeed, sometimes, angels come in human form. It's at the time when we'd exhausted our hoarded resources and all hope is lost, that God shows up with divine help.

Glad God came through for you and family in ways you least expected.

Sorry, about those trying times. Thank God they're in the past now and you're telling your story now.

You were really strong for yourself, that really wouldn't have been an easy time especially on your mental health while they were trying to save your physical body. 🥹
Thank God for every angel He sent to your aid then.

Honestly, it wasn't an easy time at all. All thanks to God and the various people he used for me 🙏.

Thanks a lot for stopping by and for your kind words.
Very well appreciated 😊
❤️❤️❤️

Yeah, I'm grateful to God for you too. 🙏
You're welcome, Dave.

❤️❤️❤️

Few doctors have that special balance of professionalism and being very down to earth to their patients that convey confidence and assurance. We don't have enough of these Doctors and nurses in any country.
