Today I am joining this week's contest because I loved the two questions you asked. The first question is about what time of day I enjoy more, sunrise or sunset.
Without a moment's hesitation, for me there is no more beautiful moment than the sunset. It is a sublime, peaceful and tranquil moment. If I could experience it by the sea, it would be perfect. In that instant, sounds fade away and we hear more of our inner self than what surrounds us.

Hoy me sumo al concurso de esta semana porque me han encantado las dos preguntas que han realizado. La primera pregunta es sobre qué momento del día disfruto más, el amanecer o el atardecer.
Sin dudarlo ni un momento, para mí no hay momento más bonito que la puesta de sol. Es un momento sublime, apacible y tranquilo. Si pudiera vivirlo junto al mar, sería perfecto. En ese instante, los sonidos se desvanecen y escuchamos más de nuestro interior que lo que nos rodea.
For me, it's perfect to reflect, think and take stock of the day. If I can also see the waves crashing on the shore, it's a natural rejuvenator. At that moment, my thoughts align and I slowly process the whole day, whether it has been calm, stressful or full of ups and downs. As the sun slips over the horizon, everything calms down within me and, no matter how difficult the day has been, it becomes a perfect moment.
Para mí, es perfecto para reflexionar, pensar y hacer balance del día. Si además puedo ver las olas rompiendo en la orilla, es un rejuvenecedor natural. En ese momento, mis pensamientos se alinean y proceso lentamente todo el día, ya haya sido tranquilo, estresante o lleno de altibajos. A medida que el sol se desliza en el horizonte, todo se calma en mi interior y, por difícil que haya sido el día, se convierte en un momento perfecto.
I must confess that I am a night owl by nature and I love the sunset ("I am in love with the night"). It is at dusk that I immerse myself in the enjoyment of the journey into the night.
Debo confesar que soy una persona noctámbula por naturaleza y que me encanta el atardecer ("estoy enamorado de la noche"). Es al atardecer cuando me sumerjo en el disfrute del viaje hacia la noche.
The other question in the quiz really tickled me, as it is related to leap year like this 2024, and whether I would like to have been born on such a day and how I would celebrate my birthday.
I must be honest and apologize to those who were born on February 29, but I would not like it at all. In my particular case (I'm 54), I know that maybe it would be convenient to have a birthday only every 4 years hahaha. But I love to always celebrate my birthdays. It doesn't have to be with a big party, it can be an outing or a small gathering with family or friends, but always celebrate and tell everyone it's my birthday. You don't know how much I enjoy that.
I wouldn't want to deprive myself of that or celebrate my day any other time than my actual birthday. I would hate to have to wait 4 years to celebrate my birthday on the appointed day.
La otra pregunta del concurso me causó mucha gracia, ya que está relacionada con el año bisiesto como este 2024, y si me gustaría haber nacido un día como ese y cómo celebraría mi cumpleaños.
Debo ser sincera y pedir disculpas a aquellos que nacieron el 29 de febrero, pero no me gustaría en absoluto. En mi caso particular (tengo 54), se que tal vez sería conveniente solo cumplir años cada 4 años jajaja. Pero es que me encanta celebrar siempre mis cumpleaños. No tiene que ser con una gran fiesta, puede ser una salida o una pequeña reunión familiar o con amigos, pero siempre celebrar y decirle a todos que es mi cumpleaños. No tienen idea de cuánto disfruto eso.
No me gustaría privarme de eso ni celebrar mi día en otro momento que no sea mi verdadero cumpleaños. No quisiera tener que esperar 4 años para celebrar mi cumpleaños en el día señalado.
So, my friends, as you can see, I love sunsets, I am a friend of the night and I love celebrating my birthdays every year and being able to say without any shame: "I have turned another year older". That gives me immense joy.
