This one should be nice and familiar. I picked this up while getting ready. It's something small that you normally use at all times. The best of all, it can show the real you and your real feelings.
Is That a Ghost?
If you see me, a face will come,
One at a time, then quickly gone.
I have no voice, no breath, no tone,
Yet answer truths especially when alone.
I borrow light. I steal no glow,
I only show what stands below.
No past, no future and I don't keep,
I just appear what's within my sweep.
Some ask me things they hope are true,
Some search for flaws they always knew.
A lifted brow, a careful stare,
As if I judge who’s standing there.
I flatter none, I never lie,
I show you the truth, I don’t deny.
I give the same to queen or fool,
The same reply, the same old rule.
Some are happy, some get mad.
Some look at me, and then get sad.
A question asked in hopeful tone,
Some wants praise I’ve never known.
You can carry me, both near and far,
In pockets, bags, beside a jar.
Round or square, with handle tight,
I can be helpful as long as there's light.
One last clue. Do you want me too?
Something easy and brand new?
I showed in a movie that was popular.
I don't remember if it's Disney or Pixar.
