Having a glass of cool filtered water first thing in the morning works for me. It helps me feel better without all the other additives and flavorings getting in the way of flushing waste out of your body. Coffee or tea comes later in the morning or put off into the afternoon is preferable. I'm still struggling in getting out of my Night Owl habits as a former Night Shift nurse.

So glad you can relate! At least I'm not alone on this. I also prefer to have other additives at midnight or later in the day, for different purposes. Coffee used to sit around my cup while I was a student. Lol. But the intake is reduced now. I hope you're able to make better progress with those habits you're trying to let off. Hugs.🤗
