I agree @twicejoy we need to prepare our kids in handling this malaise. Prevention is more important than the cure.
Bullying needs to be confronted, exposed in the light and dealt with immediately. Remaining silent is not acceptable and only emboldens further suffering of the victims and tend to adversely shape the lives of our children. What bothers me most is School officials and staff that seem unwilling to resolve the issue or dismiss it as no big deal. That has happened in my local school.
