It is so noble of you to take care of your grandmother and you did it for 6 years without any professional care aid training. At the same time saddening watching her become weaker in that same time. You did notice important changes in her health; loss of mobility, reverting to her mother tongue, and so on. Your instincts were correct, at least your Grandmother was in a loving home, close to family when she peacefully passed.
