Guao, es difícil decidirme y elegir solo una foto, porque creo que en mi vida, tengo varias fotos representativas de momentos vividos, de sueños que anhelaba con el corazón y se hicieron realidad y los he dejado plasmados en mi memoria, y por supuesto en fotos. Me costó elegir solo una, porque en serio, estoy muy agradecida con todo lo bonito que he vivido a mi corta edad y a Dios gracias por eso.
Sin embargo, como tenía que elegir una jaja, coloqué la de mi boda. El día que me casé, la decisión más importante de mi vida, el día que dije sí acepto. ¡Que bello día, y qué bello momento! Una y mil veces volvería a repetir ese día, porque siento que todo fue perfecto, que todo salió incluso mejor de lo que yo pensaba. Esta foto representa: Unidad, amor, confianza, fidelidad, compromiso, mucha fe en Dios, gallardía, esperanza y alegría.
Desde que inicio ese día yo estaba sumamente emocionada, me levanté súper agradecida, y a pesar de los contratiempos que se presentaron, nada logró arruinar ese bello momento. La maquilladora no podía ir a la casa, así que yo tuve que trasladarme hasta el local para que me maquillaran, yo misma me peiné y fue algo súper básico porque yo no sabía nada de peinados, y por supuesto que no podía estar inventando justo ese día ya que el tiempo lo tenía medido. A mí papá, justo bajando las escaleras de la casa se le rompieron los zapatos jajaja, ya que era unos de vestir y por el poco uso que tenían, a pesar de estar nuevos, se le salió la suela, por suerte tenía otros, y esos fueron los que se colocó. Mi suegro, no pudo asistir ese día, y no fue sino en el momento que yo me enteré, hubieron varias cosas que trataron de salirse de control, pero mi paz siempre permaneció porque era uno de los días más felices de mi vida.
Que lindo ver esta foto, después de tres años de casados, si Dios quiere en octubre del presente año cumplimos cuatro años, observarnos, y gua, éramos pequeñitos, yo tenía 22 años recién cumplidos, pero el amor, y la fe que le teníamos a lo que estábamos haciendo era inmensa, tanto así que, he sido muy feliz desde ese día hasta hoy.
Aquí quiero citar parte de los votos de amor que yo dije en la boda, que por supuesto todavía los tengo escritos, y para redactar este escrito tuve que ir a buscarlos porque me parecía súper necesaria parte de lo expresado aquel 30 de octubre del 2021, dice así:
"Una fecha que marca un antes y un después. Dos vidas que se unieron en nombre del amor. Un: - Sí acepto. Que es y será hasta que la muerte nos separe. Una decisión. Un privilegio. Un compromiso. El mejor contrato que he firmado en mi vida. Cuatro años de noviazgo desde que comenzó esta aventura, llena de altos y bajos, pero siempre junto a ti.
Lo que Dios ha hecho en nuestras vidas supera todas las expectativas que teníamos. Que bueno que Él tiene el control siempre. Amo mi vida al lado tuyo. Las risas, los planes, y la vida misma. Gracias por hacerme tan feliz.

Por supuesto que, mis votos fueron dos hojas escritas, pero creo que se resumen muy bien en este par de líneas que coloqué. Me llena de felicidad, y de orgullo, que mucha gente en ese momento no creía en nosotros, éramos pequeños, inexpertos, y no apostaban por eso, recibimos comentarios negativos en su momento, incluso de gente cercana y familiares, pero a pesar de todo, de las opiniones y dudas, seguimos adelante porque el amor que nos teníamos superaba todo miedo e inseguridad. Y sí, no me arrepiento de nada, la mejor decisión fue esta.

Wow, it’s hard for me to decide and choose just one photo because I believe I have several photos in my life that represent cherished moments, dreams I longed for and that became reality, leaving them captured in my memory and, of course, in photos. It was tough to pick just one because I’m genuinely grateful for all the beautiful experiences I’ve had at my young age, and I thank God for them.
However, since I had to choose one, haha, I went with my wedding photo. The day I got married, the most important decision of my life, the day I said, “I do.” What a beautiful day and a beautiful moment! I would relive that day a thousand times over because I feel like everything was perfect—everything turned out even better than I expected. This photo represents: Unity, love, trust, fidelity, commitment, faith in God, courage, hope, and joy.
From the moment that day began, I was incredibly excited, I woke up feeling super grateful, and despite the setbacks that arose, nothing could ruin that beautiful moment. The makeup artist couldn’t come to the house, so I had to go to her salon to get my makeup done. I did my own hairstyle, which was super basic because I didn’t know anything about hairstyling, and of course, I couldn’t experiment that day since my schedule was tight. My dad’s dress shoes broke while going down the stairs at home, haha—although they were new and rarely worn, the soles came off. Luckily, he had another pair, and he wore those. My father-in-law couldn’t attend the wedding, and I only found out during the event. There were several things that tried to get out of control, but my peace remained intact because it was one of the happiest days of my life.
It’s lovely to see this photo, three years after our marriage. If God wills, in October of this year, we’ll celebrate four years of marriage. Looking back, wow—we were so young. I had just turned 22, but the love and faith we had in what we were doing were immense. From that day until now, I’ve been incredibly happy.
Here, I want to quote part of the vows I said during the wedding, which I still have written down. To write this piece, I had to go find them because they felt essential to include. They read:
"A date that marks a before and after. Two lives united in the name of love. A: - I do. That is and will be until death do us part. A decision. A privilege. A commitment. The best contract I’ve ever signed in my life. Four years of dating since this adventure began, filled with highs and lows, but always together with you.
What God has done in our lives exceeds all the expectations we had. How wonderful that He is always in control. I love my life by your side—the laughter, the plans, and life itself. Thank you for making me so happy.

Of course, my vows were two full pages, but I think this part sums them up perfectly. It fills me with joy and pride to reflect on how, at the time, many people didn’t believe in us. We were young, inexperienced, and some didn’t support us. We received negative comments, even from close family members. Despite everything—despite opinions and doubts—we moved forward because the love we had surpassed all fears and insecurities. And yes, I don’t regret anything; this was the best decision I’ve ever made.
