Hi beautiful ladies.. How are you all doing today.. Am sure you've been doing great.. Its another week of the ladies of hive contest. And today, I will be sharing with you about Aging Vs Maturity. Keep reading;

AGING VS MATURITY

This statement “Aging is an obligation, maturity is a choice” is very true and meaningful. I must agree to that statement. This is because Aging is natural and it's very unavoidable. Everyone living on planet earth grows older with time, including plants and animals. For one to get aged, it doesn’t require any effort or decision, because it’s simply a natural biological process.

On the other hand, Maturity is intentional. For one to be matured enough, is not just about age, it’s about their attitude, wisdom, and behavior. A person can grow older but still act childish if they don’t learn from experiences or take responsibilities. Real or true maturity comes from choices you make. That is choosing patience over anger, understanding over judgment, discipline over impulse, etc.

Now, the difference in this two words is that Aging is an enough reason for one to be matured. You can still very high of age, but a little girl of low age can still have a very good sense of maturity more than the aged person. Again, two people of the same age can have very different levels of maturity because of their mindset and life choices. In addition, you can't control aging because it's a natural phenomenon for everyone, but you can control how you grow either emotionally, mentally, and morally, etc. So, while aging happens to everyone, maturity happens only to those who choose to grow with a good sense and mindset.
Maturity is optional decision. I believe too in maturity is optional because it depends on a person’s choices, attitude, and willingness to learn. Some people grow older but still behave irresponsibly or selfishly. Some others also choose to reflect and learn from their mistakes, and treat others wisely. So, while everyone ages, not everyone matures. Maturity requires conscious effort and self-awareness.

In conclusion, I must say that I concore with the statement that "Aging is an obligation, Maturity is a choice". Aging happens automatically, but maturity requires intention. Growing old is a fact of life, but growing up is a personal decision one can make. Thank you all for your time today..
