You're a true queen, my love and I'm sorry if you ever had to second guess yourself because of a never-do-well like him. The audacity to gaslight you like that by saying he knows what's best for you and no one can love you ...blah blah.

Honestly ehh, if I didn't know firsthand that even the strongest women may fall victim to hoodlums like these, I would have said can never be me. But I'm so glad you got out, my love.         My dear....when I was much younger I used to feel the exact same way.... Can never be me, I'd say but then I experienced it and became wise.
