2️⃣ Building a strong foundation in technical skills can be a game-changer in life. What are your thoughts on how technology may open doors to new opportunities not offered previously? Are you utilizing new technology where you live? How have you implemented technology into your daily skills?
Ever since we started using computers and phones, I've been determined to learn how to use them, as I believe these technological devices are very important in our lives. I saw this starting in my daughter's 4th grade, when she used a typewriter to type her homework and didn't get good grades because the others used computers.
I know people who complete their university studies online, using a computer or phone. They attend their classes remotely and only go to the university occasionally to bring documents or something else, not to attend classes. A friend's niece just graduated with a degree in psychology, and she did it remotely, from the comfort of her home.
When the pandemic took us by surprise in 2020, we realized the importance of technology and understanding how it works. This helped us slow the spread of the virus since there was no human contact. It also showed us the advantages of working from home and how well we could do it.
I always tell my story: an elderly person who couldn't find a job in person, and through this website, HIVE, I found a way to earn a small salary, and, above all, I found my spiritual peace through technology.
Preparing ourselves is vital if we want to keep up with technology, so with that in mind, I enrolled in a Virtual Assistant course to learn how remote work works. Believe me, I was impressed with all the technology used to do this job and all the technology available that you don't even realize until you study it.
Video calls have also helped communities communicate better. Now they can hear each other, see each other's faces, and see everything they're doing. Families who have had to watch their children or a relative leave for another country have the convenience of seeing them through video calls.
Hive is my remote job, it's my peace of mind, it's keeping my mind doing something I enjoy. I'm up to date with technology, in the comfort of my home, and using and learning more about it every day.

Looking back to compare the quality of life we have now with the technology we have today, and studying and updating for the future. What I've achieved at HIVE, I want to continue studying and developing further for my well-being and to learn how to manage all the systems used on the platform so I can adapt and be more successful.
