What do you think about the phrase "π ππ¦π’π₯π² ππ¨π¦ππ¬ ππ’π«π¬π?" Do you agree with it? Or do you prefer the phrase"π ππ¦ π¦π² ππ¨π© π©π«π’π¨π«π’ππ²." I would like to know what you think.
I prefer the phrase "family comes first" In everything, the love for our family should come first. Family is irreplaceable, they are there when the need arises. The family will always be family regardless of the circumstances.
Family is the basis of the society. Without family, there's no procreation. Families provide love, support, and a sense of belonging that cannot be easily replicated in other relationships. The significance of familial connections in terms of heritage, culture, and tradition can not be overemphasized. Family strengthens bonds, fosters emotional well-being, and creates a safe space to lean on during challenging times.
Family comes first. My top priority!
Before I think of myself in so many ways, I had to put my family into consideration. I wouldn't want to do things that would take me away from my family. There was a time when I had a professional course to run for a year and some months in a very far place from where I live, the first thought that came to my mind was my family, my husband, and my kids. How do I leave them for that period? How will they cope without me? My husband, will leaving him behind a good idea? All these thoughts were for that phrase **"family first" **
Moreover, The love and encouragement received from family members can boost self-confidence and self-esteem. Family provides a protective environment where individuals can freely express themselves, explore their interests, and develop essential life skills.
It is time for my children's inter-house sports competition. After much preparation, my girl was a balloon girl to her house while my son was running a race for his house. The day was fixed during the week which was Wednesday. Before the main day, I had been extremely busy at work, the same as my husband. We started contemplating who would attend because seeing one of their parents attending such an event can only make them happier.
I decided to attend while their father would not be around. On Tuesday of that week, I was more than busy at work because that happened to be the examination week for my school. You know the how busy examination period is especially when you are to act as the coordinator. I got home on Tuesday extremely tired and the baby girl's hair was not done. I quickly rushed in to make her hair forgetting how the headache dealt with me throughout my stay at work. Hair done at 8.49 pm π€
Hair done by myself
After making enough preparations for D-Day, then I received a call from one of my bosses at a higher place that I should be on my way to their office the following morning, I felt so bad about the call. But what would you have me do? Then, I told my babies that Mom would not be coming to their inter-house sport because I had to attend to an urgent call.
Me: My babies
They: Yes Mom
Me: I won't be coming with you guys to your sports arena
They: Why?
Me: Already pissed, urgent call came in, dearies
They: Can it wait?
Me: No dear
My boy: So, Mom and Dad won't be around to watch me run the race π
My girl: What about me with my beautiful hair and dress, nobody to applaud meπ
Me: Thoughtful
After some minutes, I decided I would be going with them, and then the shout became so loud with so much joy and happiness. I could read how happy they were. My change of mind was based on my family first. I went to my children's program and came back later to call my boss and tell him the reason I could not make it that day.
