The importance of a mother can never be overemphasized, mother plays a great role in the lives of their children, mother is like the second God that we must obey, mothers are priceless, they are the best gift God gave to us, and mothers are the real gem and no one can take their place.
Let's talk about the journey of nine months, the convenience and the uncomfortable conditions, the mood swings, the nauseating or should we talk about the changes that the body reacts to during pregnancy, can we overlook all these changes and pretend not to know their value, mother's deserves to be celebrated always when we think about this stressful journey they went through just to bring us into this world.
Life would have been boring without you, you make my journey on earth so fun and lively, you made me who I am today and you always have a listening ear for me anytime I cry to you, what would I do if you were not here with me or how will people know my existence without you.
You always give me your shoulder to rest upon, I call you my ATM because there is no day I need your support that you will not do, you are incredible, and you are loving and caring, I do not know what to say or how to describe how wonderful you are, you are my backbone, my God-sent, angel in human form, the one that will always pray effortlessly for my growth.
I remember when I was sick and everyone thought it would be the end for me, you stood by me and sold all your properties just to bring me back to life, many people had lost hope in me but you fought the battle and brought me back to life with prayers, I do not know how to stop appreciating you my best friend, my mother, my backbone, my supporter, my fighter, my prayer warrior, my jewel.

Mother, My Guiding Light
Steadfast and strong, your love glows bright like an illumination in the darkest night.
Through joys and sorrows, you're always there,
Offering comfort, wisdom, and care.
Your gentle touch, your soothing voice,
Calming my fears, making me rejoice.
With endless patience and unwavering grace,
You nurture my soul, you hold me in place.
My Mother, my heart overflows with thanks,
For all the times you've filled my ranks.
You've been my anchor, my safe harbor too,
A precious gift, I'm forever grateful for you.
Your sacrifices, your tireless deeds,
Selflessly meeting my every need.
I am who I am because of your love,
A blessing from the heavens above.

I dedicate this poem to my mother, she is my sunshine and deserves this over and over again, she is indeed a rare gem and I will always cherish and love you, you are irreplaceable, if there is another life after this life then I will choose you over again, you love and encouragement keeps me going, you never for once leave my side, your caring and prayers always speaks for me.
To all the mothers on hive, the pillars of lives, I honor you today, you are loved and cherished. May your days be filled with joy and peace, May your love forever increase.
