Hi,

I read a post of one of my friend about the women of India who killed their husbands with the help of their lovers. I forgot about it. Recently I searched the internet and found that there were murders of husbands by their wives. So, the news was true. It was shocking that lots of men were blaming women for being so cruel and disloyal to their husbands and in laws. According to them, women are inferior and they should be kept under the control of men. Is this a good approach?
When people blame women for being feminist, they forget that women had been not better than slaves in the traditional patriarchal societies. They had no rights. They were not considered able to do mental tasks. They were beaten, tortured and harassed by men and even women of their families. But did people blamed whole men community for that cruelty? When women had no right to vote, no right to take education and no right to raise their demands, they were considered inferior to men. Women had to struggle so much to get their equal rights. Now they are claiming their rights and outperforming men in many areas, they have become bad. Being good doesn't mean that they should bear all the burdens of the society without complaining.
There should be no hesitation to condemn those women who had murdered their husbands for living a life with their lovers. But it should not be an excuse to blame the every women and their freedom. Freedom has nothing to do with it. In fact, such bad women belongs to the societies which are too strict to women. People there are generally misogamist. They don't like women to be educated, free and express their emotions. They wish women to be the servants of men. This is the truth of such societies and the people belongs to them. You cannot blame every women for the wrong doings of a few women.
That's it.
