This prompt has made me realize that I have so many black outfits 😂 and guess what? It isn’t intentional.
So let me tell you how I came to have so many black clothes.
Before now, I had a hard time selecting clothes to wear. It seemed like everything I wore would scream remove me, except black. So I started getting more black, It fits with everything you want to wear.
Black is unique and unisex. It doesn’t clash with colors; it matches well with every color you pair it with. There are times when my outfit from head to toe is black. My mom would usually ask, “Are you going for a funeral?” But truthfully, I just feel comfortable in them, and with them on, I believe I’m good to go.
Another reason I have so many black items is because of my school. We wear white or blue shirts and black pants for school though you can wear a black skirt too. So you'll see blue, white, and mostly black.
Would I like to change my wardrobe? Yes!! I would love to but maybe not now. I need the black as a student, especially when you’ve run out of ideas of what to wear. I have a favorite color: blue and white. But most times I question myself if I’m really sure they’re my favorites. Apart from school uniforms, you won't find any other blue in my closet. You may find white, but just a few.
About me getting married at 71 if I was a widow (although I won’t be one even at 90 ☺️): If, sadly, my baby goes to heaven and I’m here alone, would I remarry?
This is really a tough question, but here’s my answer—I’m a lover girl, even though my friends don’t believe it. So, if I still have this type of mentality I have now, I will surely remarry. I have peace and wealth, I know, but having someone I talk to every night and morning, someone to get angry with, is something I cherish and love.
My decision might change with time, I don’t know but if nothing changes, I will remarry.
