Leaving behind all you know and your loved ones would indeed be hard. I have moved cross country before, taking my family with me and leaving my parents behind. That was hard enough, but at least we were in the same country. Leaving the country though, would definitely be much harder. However now for me, I am the matriarch of the family; my parents long passed from this world.
You are so right; we should be thankful for all that we have; each new day we wake up and go about our lives. Today is called the present, because that's what it is; tomorrow is not promised, but we have hope that we will see it come to fruition. God is good!
