Right from time I have never had any self care recipes,I mean I live in an african home, I don’t get to do all those recipes and all, my eating habit is mostly eating anything I could find at home or some times I eat what I crave, or whenever I don’t like what’s being cooked at home, I figure out what to eat before time, for instance I’m not really a fan of fish and I mostly hate it when a food is being prepared with Fresh fish from the river or sea, once I see something like that, I mostly go for instant noodles or any other fast food.
I love pasta, rice, noodles and some soups in particular, yes I am a selective person when it comes to food, but most times I also tend to try out new recipes, and after trying it out and I found out its not something I like or it doesn’t go well with my stomach then am never trying it again, a typical example is the “African salad” its a food from the eastern part my country, Nigeria..Although to me the food is being hyped and by the way most of the ingredients are not cooked, I don’t like color and how it taste, there’s a particular thing that has a bitter taste in it, I tried it once and I must tell you I never tried it again, although people love it and it is very healthy too, but like I said earlier I don’t because of self care, Lol.
Not eating because of self care maybe bad because, most times what we tend not to like could be very helpful to our system and even skin, but just because we don’t like it, we always avoid it and eat foods that not healthy to our bodies, I hope that some I build myself to the point of eating foods for self care and not just to fill my stomach for eating sake.
