Imagine if I could trade my human shoe for wings or paws from the animal kingdom. For me I would like to fly freely like an eagle hands down.
There is something about this big and magnificent bird that connects with my soul and maybe after reading this you'll feel a little inspired to find your own spirit animal.
Why an Eagle? Eagle are the kings of the sky, they swore high above the world, gliding effortlessly on powerful wings, seeing life from a perspective most creatures can only dream of. The ability to rise above those noise to see the bigger picture feel like you have power above every other creatures.
We humans often get bogged down in details, views deadlines and also on some small arguments, but an eagle, it got this incredible knack of just zooming out every spot around ahead and the eagle knows how to spot what truly matters from miles away.
I would love to embody that clarity that I believe to focus on the horizon and see the bigger picture of everything else with that chaos in the background. Eagles are so fiercely independent and they can also connect with that deeply. They don't rely on flock just like other birds, they hunt for their own, swore high and build their lives with the quiet confident.
Eagles are not just loners, they also mate for life and fiercely protect their family, just like a band that I admire so much. They only stand strong on their own path, cherishing those they love. For me, I would also want to carry that strength, that ability to carve my own path while still loyal to the ones who matter most.
I love the resilience of an eagle. These bears don't shy away from storms, they use their wings to lift them higher. That is the kind of spirit that I want to embody. I want to face life challenges head on, so that no obstacles can hinder me, but I want to see opportunities and make use of them to grow stronger.
Looking at every setback as just a wind to help you soar more higher instead of something to fear or run away from. That is the eagle's secret, and it's a mindset we could all borrow from. So being an eagle won't also mean embracing freedom in this perilous form.
No borders, no ceiling. Just the open sky and the courage to explore it is a reminder that we too can break free from whatever holds us back, whether it is a doubt, a fear, or a routine. So if I could be an eagle, I would spread my wings, catch the wind, and remind myself daily to rise above, stay true, and keep soaring towards my dreams.
For you, what animal speaks to your heart?
Find it. Let it inspire you to live wider.
